STAT 216  Introduction to Statistics  (3 Credits)  
The course teaches a basic introduction to the fundamental concepts and methods of statistics. Topics include: frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, fundamentals of probability, binomial distribution, estimation, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing for normal distributions, correlation and simple linear regression.
