Upon completion of this course the student will know the user interface of the MasterCam 3D modeling software. The student will learn to create sketches and turn them into parametric features, and modify and edit the features to create parts. Students will demonstrate understanding of the Cartesian Coordinate system, the importance of part setup, and the tool paths necessary to complete the project on manual and CNC machines. This course introduces MasterCam and prepares students for MasterCam Mill 2D.
